I use a combination of therapies during a client session.  Below are the therapy modalities that I use.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

EFT uses self-accupressure tapping on certain meridian endpoints on the face and body whilst using a talk therapy at the same time. The tapping is combined with modern psychology to provide an effective healing modality

Easibirthing® Hypnobirthing

The easibirthing┬« method uses a combination of techniques such as self hypnosis, relaxation, visualisation and breathing techniques, to help prepare your mind and body, for a calm, more comfortable, confident labour and birth.

Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy

Hypnosis is a natural state and uses a combination of deep relaxation and focused attention.  When a person is deeply relaxed and in hypnosis, the subconscious part of the mind can be accessed.  The use of suggestion and other techniques are used to help the client with their challenges and goals.  The client will still be in control during an Hypnotherapy session and be able to communicate and move body parts, should they wish to do so.

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

.NLP uses the mind to make changes. It is a form of psychotherapy that is used to help a person make personal change and to achieve personal excellance.  

Neuro represents, our five senses, what we hear, see, feel, taste and smell.  Linguistics, is the language system we use to communicate with ourself (verbal and non-verbal language) Programming, is the mind programmes that we run. When we discover what mind programmes we run, we can update/change these programmes to achieve our desired outcome.

Stress Management Techniques

A combination of stress management techniques and strategies are used to help the client reduce or elimate their stressors.  Clients will gain a better  understanding of what stress is and why we experience stress. Clients will learn a number of self-help stress management techniques, that they can apply into their lives.
